Put a Visit to Idaho Falls on Your Bucket List
Though some might think of Idaho Falls as "on the way" to the Tetons and Yellowstone National Park and not a destination unto itself, this little city has tons to see. Take some time to explore the sites!
- Snake River Greenbelt and Riverwalk Start your day with an early morning stroll along the river. The paved trail covers five miles on both banks. It's easily accessible and has strategically placed park benches, restrooms, picnic tables, and drinking fountains along the way. Be sure to stop at the falls and take in the views. Originally river rapids, a retaining wall was built for a hydroelectric plant turning those rapids into falls.
